On 29th July 2022, the funeral plan industry becomes regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The Independent Family Funeral Directors Ltd, which trades as Fosters Family Funeral Directors, is fully engaged in this process and has submitted its application to become an authorised provider of funeral plans.

This includes plans purchased under our Fosters Family Funeral Director and Woodside Family Funeral Directors brands.

(It also covers plans purchased up to 2020 under the following brands: Ready4Retirement, Memoria, Lowest Cost Funerals, Family Funeral Directors and Plan and Prosper where we manage the plan).
