We are delighted to announce a new bursary scheme where organisations and local heroes across Rutherglen have the chance to benefit from a share of a £5,000 funding pot.

We will be offering grants of up to £1000 to groups in the town.

Area manager for Fosters Rutherglen, Terry Buchan explains “We receive regular requests for donations and we wanted to create a dedicated Rutherglen community bursary to guarantee direct benefit to the local area.

“There are so many deserving causes, from longstanding voluntary organisations to newly-formed groups that assisted vulnerable members of the community during lockdown. We want to provide a helping hand as we know this has been an especially challenging time for fundraisers.

Who Can Apply?

If you’re a registered charity, not-for-profit group or a social enterprise carrying out inspiring work in Rutherglen we would encourage you to apply.

Nominate A Cause

There’s also the option to nominate a deserving cause in your area – just send us the details of your nominee and your reasons for making the nomination and these will also be considered.”

Applications can be made via this community page on our website.

Fosters has 17 parlours across Scotland and we are committed to giving something back across the communities in which we operate.
