A farewell cremation is when a family host a small service at the funeral parlour.
It appeals to those who find traditional services too sombre and want a more private send off as the cremation takes place at a separate time and is unattended.

A limousine is available to bring your family to the parlour for this service.

What’s Included?

A complimentary limousine will travel from the family home and bring you to a private service at one of our funeral parlours. The price includes the fee for an unattended cremation in a quality wood effect coffin.

  • Completion of all documentation and liaison with all third parties

  • Advice, support and guidance

  • Bringing the deceased into our care from anywhere in mainland Scotland

  • Care and preparation of the deceased

  • Fully lined and fitted wood effect coffin (the Arran)

  • Arranging and conducting the funeral service

  • Limousine from the family home to parlour service

  • Service at one of our parlours (where available)

  • Unattended cremation (at date and location of our choosing)

  • Scattering of ashes in the garden of remembrance or collection from a Fosters parlour
