A simple, yet respectful service at a location of your choice. Our lowest cost option is suitable for an attended funeral with a service.

Our Simple Funeral provides a quality service at a lower cost, with the comfort of knowing we guarantee our usual professional levels of care and service.

There are, however, some restrictions on certain arrangements that can be a bit more complex, such as custom coffins & the funeral cortege.  You can still personalise some things, like orders of service and memorials.

The price shown doesn’t include 3rd-party fees, such as cremation or burial, as these vary by location.

What’s Included?

The services below are for those needing to arrange a funeral now or in the near future.

  • 24 hour customer helpline

  • Completion of all documentation and liaison with all third parties

  • Advice, support and guidance

  • Bringing the deceased into our care from anywhere in mainland Scotland

  • Care and preparation of the deceased and dressing in a funeral gown

  • Fully lined and fitted Simple coffin (can’t be changed)

  • Chauffeur driven hearse

  • Arranging and conducting the funeral at a single location

  • Scattering of ashes in the garden of remembrance or collection from a Fosters parlour

*Please note that the price excludes all 3rd party fees, for example, cremation/burial or interment and:

  • choice of the date and time of the funeral (we’ll mutually agree to suit both parties)
  • dressing in clothes of your choosing (available for an additional fee)
