Fosters raise £1115 for Strathcarron Hospice Fosters Funeral Directors in Stirling hosted a Big Birthday Tea Party event, in aid of Strathcarron Hospice, raising a whopping £1,115.07. Fosters would like to send a huge thank you to the numerous businesses across Stirling and Forth Valley, for donating wonderful prizes to the event celebrating the Hospice's 42nd anniversary on the 28th April, which were raffled off to raise funds. Fosters Charity Easter Eggs-travaganza!
Fosters Funeral Directors have joined forces with local charities across the central belt to deliver over 500 Easter Eggs to vulnerable children in the area with an egg-cellent treat this Easter. Among the charities supported are several Women’s Aid organisations that provide a confidential service offering vital information, support and temporary accommodation to women and their children who have experienced domestic abuse. Fosters Team raise £1,000 for Alzheimer’s Scotland
On Saturday the 17th of September, our Fosters team took part in the Memory Walk raising £1,000 for Alzheimer Scotland. For the second consecutive year, some of the Fosters team pulled on their walking boots to walk around Strathclyde Park for the annual Alzheimer’s Scotland Memory Walk. Our wonderful team were delighted that they could come together to raise money for our charity partners Alzheimer’s Scotland. Fosters is OFFICIALLY AUTHORISED by the FCA to sell funeral plans. We’re delighted to confirm that we are now authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as a provider of funeral plans. From today, the FCA will regulate pre-paid funeral plans, following legislation passed by Parliament. The FCA is authorising 26 providers, only 2 of which are Scottish companies. The newly authorised firms hold approximately 1.6 million plans, which make up 87% of the market.
