Foster's Funeral Directors has launched a Christmas appeal for local Women's aid charities. The appeal aims to provide support and resources for women and children who have suffered from domestic abuse. These local women's aid charities provide a confidential service offering vital information, temporary accommodation and support for their recovery. These women often had to leave their domestic lives quickly, so they had little or no possessions. Many have children and babies, making the situation even harder. Fosters is OFFICIALLY AUTHORISED by the FCA to sell funeral plans.  We’re delighted to confirm that we are now authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as a provider of funeral plans.    From today, the FCA will regulate pre-paid funeral plans, following legislation passed by Parliament. The FCA is authorising 26 providers, only 2 of which are Scottish companies.
