Celebrating the Success of our Connection Day at Fosters Funeral Parlour in Stirling Tackling Loneliness Together

Our Team at Fosters are delighted to share the incredible success of our recent Connection Day at Fosters Funeral Parlour in Stirling, an event dedicated to tackling loneliness in Scotland.

Loneliness can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstances, and we aimed to create a welcoming space where people could come together, connect, and support one another. Thanks to the tremendous turnout and heartfelt participation, the day was an inspiring reminder of the power of community and the importance of human connection.

One of the most beautiful aspects of our Connection Day was the array of heartwarming conversations that took place amidst a few games of dominoes! Attendees from all walks of life came together, shared their stories, and found common ground. It was a poignant reminder that we are never truly alone and that there is always someone willing to listen and support.

One attendee told us, “It was a wonderful experience”, another said it was “A wonderful day” and “we met some lovely people”. Another who came along with their mum said that it was “so friendly, and I think it’s been great for Mum, thank you”.

A Heartfelt Thank You

The success of our Connection Day would not have been possible without the incredible support and participation of everyone involved. Thank you for joining us and making Connection Day a resounding success. We hope you left with new friendships, valuable insights, and a renewed sense of community.

Looking Forward: Join Us for the Next Connection Day

The success of this event has inspired us to continue our efforts to combat loneliness, so we are excited to announce that our next Connection Day will be held on Friday, 23rd of August at Fosters Funeral Parlour in Stirling from 11 am-1 pm.
